What is Hadith?
The Hadith ( Arabic : أحاديث (plural), حديث (singular), "that which is told) are laid down in large collections, Islamic traditions of the doings and sayings of Muhammad . Through these narrations one knows the Sunnah , the way of the Prophet. For the vast majority of Muslims Hadith complement and interpretation of the Koran . The Hadith are in the 8th century and 9th century written down oral tradition .
The Dutch knows no difference in the indication of a plural or singular, only the indication Hadith . It is according to the Green Book with a capital letter written.
From the Quran and Hadith Islamic laws were made, the Sharia . In most Islamic countries, sharia is a basic part of the law. Most other countries have a mixed legal system. A Muslim does not have to believe in a Hadith. The Quran has always been the primary source.
